As the talent pool both domestically and globally becomes more diverse, it is critical that all organizations across all sectors step up their inclusive recruiting. This workshop will start with understanding the compelling business case for focusing on inclusive recruiting, then moving to building a strategy with a logical approach to implementation of inclusive recruiting techniques. A deep dive on how unconscious bias directly impacts inclusive recruiting will be covered as well as techniques to mitigate unconscious bias in recruiting. Participants will: ● Be able to articulate the compelling business rationale for investing in inclusive recruiting. ● Understand the key components of an inclusive recruiting strategy. ● Explore unconscious bias as the major roadblock to inclusive recruiting and how to mitigate it. ● Gain the tools to build a cohesive strategy – including practical, innovative, and impactful best practices – leading to effective execution of inclusive recruiting.
