Creating and maintaining psychologically safe environments is difficult if there is low organizational trust and a lack of transparency. This workshop is about helping participants positively effect outcomes by understanding transparency as a tool to build trust, which is the foundation of creating environments where everyone is able to share their thoughts openly and without judgment, punishment, or rejection. In a psychologically safe environment, all members have equal rights to express themselves, regardless of their position. Participants will: ● Understand trust as an organizational currency and connect the value of trust and profitability. ● Maintain focus on emotional intelligence to build trust and strengthen relationships. ● Explore the hidden cost of distrust and the cost of unresolved conflict in the workplace. ● Assess personal self-awareness and accountability to increase trust in the workplace. ● Identify what psychological safety is and why it’s important. ● Connect how creating a psychologically safe environment builds trust on teams. ● Understand the value of transparency in the workplace.
